Our next concert is on Saturday March 29th 2025, and we are excited to be singing a new work by composer Steve Parker, alongside Gabriel Faure’s beautiful Requiem. We last performed Faure’s Requiem at Eglise de la Madeleine, Paris in 2017, where it had its premiere in 1888, and we are looking forward to performing it again at St. Andrew’s Church, Chippenham this Spring.
Tickets will shortly be available via choir members, or by emailing us at info@villagesingers.co.uk. You can also book now online using the following link (this method will incur a booking fee).
We will provide details of other outlets shortly and, subject to availability, they will be available to purchase on the door.
We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting our first ever “come and sing” full day event, focussing on the Faure Requiem, at St Andrew’s on Saturday March 1st 2025. If you have ever fancied giving a choir a try, but are not sure you’re ready to commit, then this is the perfect event for you! Come along and spend the day rehearsing this beautiful piece (the score is readily available on Amazon), followed by an informal performance in the afternoon. Then, if you wish, join up afterwards.
For tickets, please email us at info@villagesingers.co.uk. Alternatively, you can book online using the following link (this method will incur a booking fee).
